This is the very hard to find Ruby Red Waterman Edson with the even harder to find stub nib. An impressive pen as well as a smooth and elegant writer.

Edson is a pen of distinction: its 18 carat solid gold nib structure and translucent body enclose a technically perfected system for regulating the ink flow (it does not leak, even at high altitude). Its design gives it a rare personality worthy of its namesake Lewis Edson Waterman.

18kt stub nib

Ruby Red converter, too!

Excellent condition. Inked a few times, but virtually indistinguishable from new. The only flaw is a very slight lateral scuff across the top of the nib unit about 3/8" back from the nib. I've seen this on several Edsons, so it seems to be a "feature" of the inner cap design. It is not very noticeable, but you may be able to see it in the nib closeup picture.
